The location is an ideal place for walking or cycling and there are some amazing local places to eat and drink. The renowned Ingham Swan is a short walk from the cottage. The cottage is excellently equipped for your country stay and even boasts 4 bikes for guests to use.
A half hour drive will take you to The Gunton Arms – set in beautiful grounds with hundreds of red deer roaming freely.
Discover the Weavers Way footpath network – a disused railway line that stretches for 61 miles is located nearby and the seaside town of sea Palling is just a 5 minute drive – ideal for sunny days at the beach or leisurely dog walks – a great place to see the seals too.
The nearby coastal road is a great way to explore the North Norfolk Coast and with many National Trust properties to there is always something to do and see!
Set amongst the famous Norfolk Broads there are several staithes (landing places) nearby where you can hire boats, canoes or paddleboards. Close by, Hickling village and the small market town of Stalham also have staithes.
